Our Story

Eric, our founder and a student at UT Austin, began baking cookies from scratch in his West Campus apartment for himself and friends to enjoy. He disliked the high amounts of refined sugar in his recipe and store-bought cookie doughs. Dates, an integral food in his Middle Eastern heritage, inspired him to integrate Medjool dates as a natural sweetener instead of brown and white sugar. This led to the creation of Top Notch Cookie Dough with the intention of delivering amazing tasting cookies without the junk.
